![]() The Company is committed to paying competitive wages and to recruit and retain qualified employees. It is our policy to pay employees based on their individual merit and performance. Our total compensation package includes the salary and other Company provided benefits.
Pay Day Policy
The Company issues payroll checks on the 15th day and the last day of each month. The payroll period covered in each check corresponds to the hours worked in the period prior to the current period.
An employee's pay is a confidential matter between the employee and the Company. Protect that confidence. If you feel there is an error in your pay, or if there is anything about your pay that you do not understand, please contact the Human Resource Manager or the Group Executive.
Pay Deductions and Set Offs
The law requires that the Company make certain deductions from every employee's compensation. These deductions are applicable: federal, state and local taxes and Medicare and Social Security taxes. Additionally, the Company reserves the right to make pay set offs, with prior written authorization, against any compensation or monies [including wages (to the extent permitted by law)] owed by the Company to the employee. Pay set offs are pay deductions that the Company may take out of any money owed to the employee by the Company to pay off a debt, pay advance, reimbursement or other obligation (including reimbursement to the Company for equipment not returned to the Company) that the employee owes to the Company or that the Company is required by law to collect from the employee on behalf of another (such as a garnishment).
Compensation Review
The Company values your input both as an individual and as a member of our team. We are constantly reviewing business conditions, productivity, quality, work efficiency, attendance, and other factors, to determine in what amount adjustments in compensation are to be made for employees.
Performance reviews for all employees are done regularly to determine progress towards mutually established goals and objectives. Pay increases are determined by factors including individual merit and performance, teamwork, Company profitability and the relative contribution of each employee to the Company's success.
Overtime
While it is company policy to avoid overtime, there are business situations that sometimes require overtime. Therefore, we expect our employees to be available to work a reasonable amount of overtime when needed. In these cases, the Company will attempt to give you sufficient notice concerning scheduled overtime.
Time Sheets
Every employee is required to maintain an accurate record of his/her time. Every time sheet requires either the client's or your supervisor's signature of approval. Time sheets must be submitted by the end of the business day every Tuesday for work performed the previous week and sent by fax or mail to the Human Resource Manager or the designated Company person.
No paycheck will be issued to an employee who has not submitted a time sheet. Continual non-submission of time sheets may result in immediate disciplinary action including termination of employment.
